Manchester united<\/a> will have just two weeks to decide if they want to trigger the \u00a344m release clause of a striker who is on their list of potential summer signings, according to a report.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Former Everton<\/a> forward Moise Kean<\/a> is on their radar with the Red Devils looking to bring in a new No 9 following the struggles of Rasmus Hojlund<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kean made little impact during three seasons at Goodison Park, managing just four goals in 39 games between 2019 and 2022.<\/p>\n

However, he has undergone a career resurgence in the time since after spells with PSG<\/a> and Juventus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He now plays his football for Fiorentina, where he\u00a0scored 19 goals and provided three assists in 32 Serie A appearances last season and helped the club secure a European place.<\/p>\n

The Italian forward is understood to have a \u00a344million release clause and Corriere dello Sport <\/a>report that it can only be activated during the first two weeks of July.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kean was the second highest scorer in Serie A last season with 19 goals in Italy’s top flight<\/p>\n

Kean has also attracted attention from Saudi side Al Qadsiah and it\u00a0remains unclear if he would be open to a move to the Middle East.<\/p>\n

United are in the market for a new striker, with Rasmus Hojlund having underwhelmed since his big-money move to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Sporting Lisbon\u2019s Victor Gyokeres, a target who previously worked with Ruben Amorim, is said to prefer a move to Arsenal, while Liam Delap has already opted to join Chelsea over United.<\/p>\n

Kean\u2019s first spell in the Premier League with Everton failed to live up to expectations. Signed as a highly-rated youngster, he struggled to adapt to life in England and was criticised for his attitude.<\/p>\n

His struggles were perhaps best summed up when then-interim manager Duncan Ferguson substituted him just 18 minutes after bringing him on during a match against United at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
