POLL NEEDS ADDING<\/strong><\/p>\n Bristol is known for its food scene<\/a>, with the city being packed with hidden gems.<\/p>\n From Clifton<\/a> to Stokes Croft<\/a> and from the city centre<\/a> to the neighbourhood restaurants, eating out is certainly one of Bristol’s joys.<\/p>\n Earlier this month, we asked you for your nominations for the city’s best restaurant and the results are now in.<\/p>\n We have shortlisted the top five that got the most nominations. It turns out two of them are on the same street, while three of them are Italian restaurants, with the other two being a curry house and a bistro.<\/p>\n Listed in alphabetical order, making it to the shortlist are:<\/p>\n 1. Bianchi’s<\/strong>. York Road, Montpelier. Describes itself as a “refined Northern Italian cuisine”.<\/p>\n 2. Curry House<\/strong>. Bath<\/a> Road. Indian restaurant.<\/p>\n 3. Little Hollows Pasta<\/strong>. Chandos Road, Redland. Artisan pasta and Italia food.<\/p>\n 4. Pazzo<\/strong>. Whiteladies Road, Clifton.<\/p>\n 5. Wilson’s<\/strong>. Chandos Road, Redland. Michelin star restaurant.<\/p>\n We are now asking for you to vote for the city’s best restaurant. You can cast your vote here:<\/p>\n If there are issues loading the above poll, please click here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n In recent months, we have been looking for the best of the best in our city.<\/p>\n In November, we revealed that a pub in Bristol city centre serves the city’s best Sunday roast<\/a>, according to our readers.<\/p>\n After more than 700 votes were cast, The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer on King Street was the clear winner after receiving 310 votes.<\/p>\n We have also found out where the city’s best greasy spoon is<\/a>.<\/p>\n After nearly a thousand votes were cast, Abbots Kitchen on Dundry Road, in Whitchurch<\/a>, South Bristol<\/a>, became the winner after receiving 432 votes.<\/p>\n We also asked our readers to recommend the best fish and chip shop in Bristol and, after just over a thousand votes were cast<\/a>, Marios Fish Bar on Pool Road, Kingswood<\/a>, was the clear winner after receiving 586 votes.<\/p>\n Furthermore, we have found a takeaway in South Bristol serves the best Chinese food<\/a> in the city, according to our readers.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, we found a pub in East Bristol serves the city’s best pizza. After more than 300 votes were cast, the Red Lion pub on Whitehall Road<\/a> was crowned winner.<\/p>\n In February, we found a city centre spot – Squeezed <\/a>– serves the city’s best burger.<\/p>\n
