Brooks Koepka was forced to withdraw from LIV Dallas during his opening round at Maridoe Golf Club on Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Koepka<\/a> chose to duck out of the ninth LIV Golf<\/a> event of the season due to illness that he just couldn\u2019t shake.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old was clearly feeling the strain after dropping seven shots inside his first nine holes at Maridoe.<\/p>\n

He has really struggled to produce his best form on LIV and in the majors this season.<\/p>\n

However, Koepka recently admitted that a 45-minute \u2018scolding\u2019 from his coach Pete Cowen<\/a> earlier this month got him back on track.<\/p>\n

So his withdrawl from the event in Dallas on Friday was the last thing he needed. That said, he could have handled his withdrawal with more class.<\/p>\n

Golf fans berate Brooks Koepka for his behaviour at LIV Dallas<\/p>\n

Koepka has cut an extremely frustrated figure out on the golf course at times over the past year or so.<\/p>\n

It must be incredibly annoying for him that he can\u2019t seem to replicate the form that saw him win his five major championships.<\/p>\n

Koepka let those frustrations get the better of him on Friday at Maridoe Golf Club, when he smashed his club into the ground and then sent the tee marker for a ride.<\/p>\n

And many golf fans ripped into Koepka for his poor behaviour.<\/p>\n

One LIV Golf follower said, \u201cGuy shouldn\u2019t be anywhere near the Ryder Cup team.\u201c<\/p>\n

While another fan chimed in with, \u201cThis bad behaviour has got to go.\u201c<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a third golf fan suggested that Koepka\u2019s actions were dangerous, \u201cThis is worse than anything Wyndham did. He could have injured a patron by doing that.\u201c<\/p>\n

Then a fourth fan urged LIV to suspend the American five-time major winner, \u201cPathetic behaviour! Suspend him now!\u201c<\/p>\n

A fifth golf fan noticed a worrying trend developing, \u201cMore and more childish actions from these professionals. I don\u2019t get it.\u201c<\/p>\n

While a sixth fan simply said, \u201cThese golfers are sore losers and they should be called out as such.\u201c<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a seventh suggested the 35-year-old shouldn\u2019t be considered for the U.S team at Bethpage Black in September due to his actions, \u201cThis should eliminate the people that want him on the Ryder Cup team.\u201d<\/p>\n

And then an eighth fan criticised Koepka heavily, \u201cThis type of behaviour doesn\u2019t belong on a golf course.\u201c<\/p>\n

LIV make surprise announcement after Koepka withdraws from Dallas event<\/p>\n

After Koepka called it quits on Friday, LIV Golf Communications took to X to make an announcement.<\/p>\n

The fact that Koepka can return to play at LIV Dallas over the weekend to contribute to his team is a new one on me!<\/p>\n

LIV continue to break as many golfing boundaries as they can, and a player withdrawing before returning to play again in the same event would be quite something.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
