Leicester City could be set to secure Danny Rohl on a cut-price deal amid the ongoing chaos at his current club Sheffield Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Friday (27 June), Leicester sacked manager Ruud van Nistelrooy after the former Manchester United striker failed to keep them in the Premier League last season<\/p>\n

It leaves the Foxes without a permanent boss, with just over a month remaining until the start of the new Championship campaign.<\/p>\n

Rohl has emerged as a potential candidate to take over at the King Power Stadium<\/a>, with Sean Dyche also in the mix to be appointed.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday are in the midst of major financial issues, and there are rumours that Rohl wants to leave after a fall-out with owner Dejphon Chansiri<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Leicester did have concerns over the cost of the Wednesday manager<\/a>, as due to the fact that he is under contract, they will be forced to pay compensation to secure the 36-year-old\u2019s signature.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

However according to Sky Sports<\/a>, due to the current situation at Hillsborough, the fee needed to secure Rohl has halved following negotiations between club and manager.<\/p>\n

As a result, it would only set the Foxes back \u00a31million to bring the German to the King Power Stadium.<\/p>\n

After Enzo Maresca left the Foxes to join Chelsea<\/a>, there is no doubt that the hierarchy at the King Power have made two very poor managerial appointments.<\/p>\n

Steve Cooper lasted just 12 games at the start of last season, and the former Nottingham Forest<\/a> boss was sacked with the club sitting 16th in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

It got even worse under Van Nistelrooy<\/a>, as Leicester confirmed their second top-flight relegation in three years, which ultimately meant the Dutchman lost his job.<\/p>\n

As the Foxes prepare for another season back in the Championship, it is vital they have a top manager to guide them back to the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Rohl has proved at Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> that he has all the tools to be able to perform at a bigger club, and away from the chaos and controversy at Hillsborough, he could establish himself as one of the division\u2019s very best.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
