A Mercedes was flipped onto its roof in a dramatic crash in Salford on Sunday evening (June 29).<\/p>\n
The vehicle ploughed into a barrier on a roundabout on the M602 Regent Road at around 8pm, scattering debris over the road.<\/p>\n
Dramatic images from the scene showed the black Mercedes on its roof and with smashed windows while being surrounded by police vehicles.<\/p>\n

One person was assessed at the scene and transferred to the care of paramedics.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: \u201cAt around 8.05pm this evening (Sunday 29 June), two fire engines from Eccles<\/a> and Agecroft fire stations and the enhanced rescue unit from Leigh fire station attended a crash involving a car and a roundabout on M602 Regent Road, Salford<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cCrews arrived quickly to make the area safe and assess one casualty on the scene before passing them into the care of North West Ambulance Service colleagues.<\/p>\n “Firefighters were in attendance for roughly 30 minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n —<\/p>\n Day in day out, our reporters in the Manchester Evening News newsroom bring you remarkable stories from all aspects of Mancunian life.
