Weather maps have turned red across large parts of England signifying the arrival of hot temperatures next month<\/p>\n

Parts of England could swelter in temperatures up to 37C in a matter of weeks as the heat cranks up a notch.<\/p>\n

Weather <\/a>maps from WX Charts show the mercury hitting the mid to high 30s on Sunday, July 13.<\/p>\n

Kent could be roasted in 37C temperatures<\/a>, while London, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex could face 36C heat, according to wxcharts.com.<\/p>\n

The West Midlands could also swelter, with Birmingham<\/a> set for 33C temperatures that day.<\/p>\n

While the arrival of sunny weather <\/a>at on any weekend will be welcomed by many, it’s important to take care in periods of very hot weather.<\/p>\n

The UK Health Security Agency, in partnership with the Met Office, runs a heat-health alert service and currently there are warning signs for seven regions of England.<\/p>\n

The West Midlands and Yorkshire and The Humber are currently under a ‘yellow’ alert, which predicts that “significant impacts across health and social care services are “possible”.<\/p>\n

While the East Midlands, East of England, London, South East and South West are under ‘amber’ alerts, which predicts that significant impacts on the same services will be “likely” – see the latest alert for the region here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Met Office has predicted “plenty of fine weather” to arrive in July, with southern areas more likely to hang on to “drier, brighter and warmer conditions”.<\/p>\n

In its long range forecast from July 3 to July 12, the Met Office said: “There is a chance of heavy, thundery rain affecting parts of England and Wales at first, but otherwise turning widely cooler and fresher with sunshine and just a few showers.<\/p>\n

“Generally speaking, high pressure is more likely to dominate through the first part of July, bringing plenty of fine weather, particularly across southern areas of the UK.<\/p>\n

“Into the second week of the month, a gradual transition to rather more changeable conditions is forecast to take place, especially further to the northwest.<\/p>\n

“Here, showers or some longer spells of rain are possible, along with breezier conditions at times.<\/p>\n
