Jarell Quansah will reportedly undergo his Bayer Leverkusen medical on Monday ahead of a \u00a335m move from Liverpool.<\/p>\n
The England Under-21 centre-back has been a target for die Werkself for the last few weeks after seeing Jontathan Tah leave for Bayern Munich as a free agent and with Leverkusen in constant contact with Liverpool this summer over deals for Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz, attention turned to Quansah earlier this month.<\/p>\n
The deal will become Leverkusen’s record purchase as new manager Erik ten Hag and sporting director Simon Rolfes rebuild at the BayArena after seeing a number of key players leave.<\/p>\n

But after beating Germany 3-2 in Bratislava on Saturday to retain the trophy they won two years ago, the Liverpool defender is now cleared to complete the formalities of the move to the Bundesliga.<\/p>\n Another Young Lion whose future could be resolved imminently is Tyler Morton. The Reds midfielder has been a long-standing target for a host of clubs, including several in the Championship, while Leverkusen and RB Leipzig have also been named in connection for the Wirral-born Morton.<\/p>\n Speaking in January, the midfielder make clear his intention of seeking senior football elsewhere, telling official club channels: \u201cThis month is a big month for myself. It\u2019s decision time, and I feel ready to kick on and be a proper professional, if that\u2019s here or someone else. I need to be a bit selfish and go with however I feel.\u201d<\/p>\n A shoulder injury that left him sidelined for a number of months put paid to a mid-season move but having seen midfield competition increase further with the club-record capture of \u00a3116m Florian Wirtz from Leverkusen, Morton is once more expected to pursue opportunities elsewhere.<\/p>\n Leverkusen had tried to loan Morton last summer<\/a> before the deal was eventually blocked by Liverpool<\/a>, who were seeking a more permanent arrangement.<\/p>\n The Reds were happy for the midfielder to provide cover and competition at the time but that stance is likely to have softened and with Morton shining for Lee Carsley’s side at the Euros, interest will be forthcoming once more.<\/p>\n Atletico Madrid’s \u00a317m agreement with Atalanta for left-back Matteo Ruggeri might now see Andy Robertson stay and fight for his place with Milos Kerkez.<\/p>\n The Scotland captain had been a surprise target for los Rojiblancos earlier this month before a deal was struck was Atalanta for Ruggeri, with that deal now expected to be confirmed this week.<\/p>\n
