Today (Monday) will see several Liverpool <\/a>players see out the final day of their contracts with the club as they leave on free transfers. June 30 is the day where the overwhelming majority of player contracts typically end, meaning any player whose deal is not renewed will leave as a free agent.<\/p>\n

Trent Alexander-Arnold<\/a> was on the verge of leaving Liverpool on a free transfer at the end of this month.<\/p>\n

That was before the Reds agreed a deal<\/a> worth up to \u00a310million with Real Madrid that saw the right-back move to the Santiago Bernabeu a few weeks earlier to be able to compete at the FIFA Club World Cup.<\/p>\n

Despite this piece of business, Liverpool are guaranteed to see several players officially leave the club by the close of play on Monday, as Arne Slot<\/a> looks ahead to the 2025\/26 campaign.<\/p>\n

The Reds confirmed their retained list in the first week of June, which stated that seven players will be departing when their contracts expire, all of whom are part of the academy.<\/p>\n

Jakub Orjzynski, Dominic Corness, Reece Trueman, Lee Jonas, Louis Enahoro-Marcus, Harry Evers and Jacob Poytress will all be leaving Liverpool after today (Monday). The contracts for all seven players run out at the end of June, meaning they will become free agents from July 1 (Tuesday).<\/p>\n

At the time, Liverpool also confirmed they had offered contracts to eight other members of the academy.<\/p>\n

Kareem Ahmed, Keyrol Figueroa, Emmanuel Airoboma, Wellity Lucky, Terence Miles, Ranel Young, Michael Laffey and Kyle Kelly have all been offered new deals by the club in an effort to see the starlets remain part of the academy set-up at the AXA Training Centre.<\/p>\n

Liverpool will be undergoing a major revamp of the academy this summer following the departures of Barry Lewtas as Under-21 head coach and Marc Bridge-Wilkinson, who was in charge of the Under-18s.<\/p>\n

It was confirmed last week that former Wales boss Rob Page had been appointed as Lewtas’ successor as the new manager of Liverpool Under-21s.<\/p>\n

In terms of other first-team departures, Caoimhin Kelleher has already completed a permanent move to Brentford earlier this summer, while Nat Phillips has left to join West Bromwich Albion.
