The exact time temperatures will peak at more than 30C in Birmingham<\/a> today have been revealed by the Met Office.<\/p>\n

Forecasters believe that from 3pm will see the height of the latest heatwave as blazing sunshine sweeps the West Midlands.<\/p>\n

By 5pm temperatures could be even hotter at 31C. While it could even reach a maximum of 33C.<\/p>\n

In a forecast for the West Midlands, the Met Office said: “A warm start to the day with plenty of sunshine for all.<\/p>\n

“Feeling hot by the afternoon with temperatures well above the late-June average.<\/p>\n

“Light winds, and mostly dry though a small chance of a shower later. Maximum temperature 33C.<\/p>\n

“Tonight: Warm and humid with plenty of late sunshine.<\/p>\n

“Remaining settled overnight though cloudier skies spilling in from the west may bring a few spots of rain and drizzle at times. Minimum temperature 17C.<\/p>\n

“Tuesday: Cooler than recent days for many with cloudier skies bringing a few outbreaks of rain at times.<\/p>\n

“Still rather warm in the far east. Winds remaining light. Maximum temperature 28C.<\/p>\n

“Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Fresher for all, with cloudier skies bringing spells of rain, these sometimes heavy on Wednesday and Thursday, but some drier, brighter intervals as well.<\/p>\n

“Temperatures near or slightly above average.”<\/p>\n
