Manchester United are continuing talks with Brentford after their second bid for Bryan Mbeumo was knocked back.<\/p>\n

United submitted an improved bid<\/a> in excess of \u00a360million for Mbeumo, but that has fallen short of Brentford’s valuation and talks are continuing between the two clubs to find a compromise.<\/p>\n

Mbeumo has expressed his desire to move to Old Trafford<\/a>, despite interest from other clubs.<\/p>\n

United launched an opening bid worth \u00a355m for Mbeumo earlier this month. Brentford rejected the opening bid and subsequently knocked back the improved offer for the 25-year-old.<\/p>\n

Manchester United have launched their new home kit for the 2025\/26 season with an Adidas shirt paying tribute to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Fans can order their Men’s<\/a>, Women’s<\/a> and Kid’s<\/a> shirt today.<\/p>\n

Mbeumo contributed 20 goals and eight assists in the Premier League<\/a> last season, predominantly playing on the right wing but also making a handful of appearances down the middle.<\/p>\n

United completed the \u00a362.5m signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves as their first deal of the summer transfer window and Mbeumo would further strengthen Ruben Amorim’s attacking options.<\/p>\n

Mbeumo is about to enter the final year of his Brentford contract, although the London club have the option of triggering a one-year extension in his deal, which helps their bargaining power.<\/p>\n

United would like to wrap up a deal for Mbeumo as soon as possible so he can report for the beginning of pre-season at Carrington, which is scheduled to begin on July 7.<\/p>\n
