{"id":226997,"date":"2025-06-30T16:03:13","date_gmt":"2025-06-30T16:03:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/226997\/"},"modified":"2025-06-30T16:03:13","modified_gmt":"2025-06-30T16:03:13","slug":"over-60000-supplements-recalled-over-deadly-poison-risk-check-packaging-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/226997\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 60,000 supplements recalled over deadly poison risk: Check packaging NOW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">More than 60,000 packages of vitamins and supplements have been recalled over fears that the products could cause an <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sciencetech\/article-14691589\/urgent-recall-eye-drops-make-you-blind.html\" rel=\"noopener\">accidental death<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The US\u00a0Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued the alert on June 26 for three types of <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/california\/index.html\" id=\"mol-0fc7dd80-55ba-11f0-91b1-ad8f39d7e821\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">California<\/a> Gold Nutrition <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sciencetech\/article-14706935\/popular-toothpaste-toxic-metals-linked-autism.html\" rel=\"noopener\">iron supplements<\/a>\u00a0due to\u00a0the packaging, which is not\u00a0child-resistant.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/yourmoney\/product-recalls\/index.html\" id=\"mol-0fc59390-55ba-11f0-91b1-ad8f39d7e821\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">recall<\/a> affects the brand&#8217;s Daily Prenatal Multi, Ultamins Women&#8217;s Multivitamin, and Ultamins Women&#8217;s 50+ Multivitamins.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Each of the recalled products contains 60 gel capsules, with the Ultamins coming in blister packs &#8211; the foil sheets that individually hold each pill.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The prenatal multivitamins come in a white bottle with a white lid. All of these will emerge within six hours.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Within the first 24 hours, a young child may go into shock, suffer a seizure, or experience organ failure.
