Quansah\u2019s imminent move to Bayer Leverkusen has been well documented, with the defender waiting until after the completion of the European Under-21 Championships to finalise the transfer.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old was photographed arriving for his medical on Monday morning and reporter Fabrizio Romano has since posted on X<\/a> that the \u201cmedical has been done today.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"PLYMOUTH,<\/p>\n

The move will bring to a close 17 years at Liverpool for the Warrington-born centre-half, the Reds picking up an initial \u00a330 million from Leverkusen, plus a further \u00a35m in add-ons.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, Liverpool have included a buy-back clause that has reportedly<\/a> been set at over \u00a351m.<\/p>\n

On this day in 2001, legendary Liverpool coach and manager Joe Fagan<\/a> sadly passed away, aged 80.<\/p>\n

A Liverpudlian from childhood, Fagan joined the Reds as a coach in 1958 and progressed through the ranks, right up to the position of manager when Bob Paisley<\/a> retired in 1983. <\/p>\n

If you thought Slot\u2019s first season was good, it was nothing on Fagan\u2019s!<\/p>\n

Following on from one of the greatest football managers of all time should be no easy job, but Fagan took to the role with a quiet confidence and led Liverpool to a treble of the European Cup, the league and the League Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n
