A man has appeared in court charged with a murder bid following an alleged “stabbing” on a street in Edinburgh<\/a>.<\/p>\n Amar Mudawi was charged with danger to life and attempted<\/a> murder, assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement and robbery and made no plea when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on April 15.<\/p>\n The 21-year-old, from the capital, was committed<\/a> for further examination and remanded in custody. He will appear again within the next eight days.<\/p>\n Police swooped after they received reports of a disturbance<\/a> on Bath Street and Mentone Avenue in Portobello last night, Saturday, April 12 at around 10.55pm and found the three boys, aged 17, 18 and 18, with injuries.<\/p>\n Officers have launched a probe into the incident and it is understood that two police helicopters could be seen circling the area for hours through the night, reports Edinburgh Live.<\/a><\/p>\n The teens were rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary <\/a>and are all believed to be stable.<\/p>\n An image from the scene shows two officers<\/a> standing by a cordon, with a police vehicle parked in the middle of the road.<\/p>\n A section of the promenade and Mentone Avenue were also locked down as police<\/a> scoured the area.<\/p>\n
