A driver ‘came off’ a bike following a police chase in Salford<\/a> and was arrested for a number of offences on Monday (June 30).<\/p>\n Officers began following the bike in the Lower Broughton area, but when the driver failed to stop, a ‘short pursuit’ then ensued, GMP said.<\/p>\n The adult male, whose age was not confirmed, later came off the bike and was arrested for a number of offences including dangerous driving and driving without a license or insurance.<\/p>\n Never miss a story with the MEN’s daily Catch Up newsletter – get it in your inbox by signing up here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Greater Manchester Police’s traffic page shared an image of the green electronic bike, which was also seized by officers, along with a quantity of cannabis.<\/p>\n A post shared by the force read: “The GMP Motorcycle Unit sighted this bike in Lower Broughton, Salford.<\/p>\n Join the Manchester Evening News WhatsApp group <\/strong>HERE<\/a><\/p>\n “The rider failed to stop, and following a short pursuit, the rider came off. Male adult arrested dangerous driving, failing to stop, no license no insurance and possession of cannabis.
