PUNK rockers Turnstile are capitalising on a scene stealing Glastonbury performance by announcing a Scottish date.<\/p>\n

The hardcore band have been hailed as one of the highlights of the biggest festival<\/a> on earth<\/a> and are set to return to the UK<\/a> with a show<\/a> at Glasgow\u2019s O2 Academy.<\/p>\n

Turnstile announced the Glasgow show hours after taking Glasto by storm<\/p>\n

The five-piece are touring their fourth album Never Enough which sparked mosh pits when played live<\/a> at Worth Farm and was released alongside a companion film<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Guitarist Pat McCrory said: \u201cThis band has always been grounded in love<\/a> and trust and we\u2019re so incredibly lucky to have exactly that from so many directions.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo grateful for my band, and for the opportunity to make a naturally imperfect attempt to find a little understanding.<\/p>\n

\u201cExcited to share it with you.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you to anyone who watches<\/a> or listens with patience.<\/p>\n

The Baltimore Grammy nominees head here for the second gig on their European tour with support from High Vis.<\/p>\n

Their afternoon set on Glasto\u2019s Other Stage on Sunday afternoon drew a huge crowd with punters and viewers at home<\/a> describing it as the best of the weekend.<\/p>\n

They followed up by announcing a 14-date run, which also includes performances in Manchester<\/a>, London<\/a>, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris<\/a> and Barcelona<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Turnstile play Glasgow<\/a> on November 2, with pre-sale tickets<\/a> available from 10am on Wednesday and general admission from 10am on Friday.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Lewis Capaldi made a surprise return to the Glastonbury stage<\/a> on Friday evening, two years after breaking down at the festival.<\/p>\n

And eagle-eyed fans saw a reference to the singer’s beloved\u00a0Celtic<\/a>\u00a0on the stage.<\/p>\n

Capaldi<\/a>\u00a0has limited his public appearances since his last set at\u00a0Glastonbury<\/a>\u00a0in 2023.<\/p>\n
