Manchester United might have reportedly been dealt a spanner in the works over their bid to offload Jadon Sancho to one club in the summer transfer window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jadon Sancho\u2019s contract with Chelsea<\/a> has now expired and the former Blues attacker will return to Old Trafford<\/a> amid the summer transfer window being open.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old Manchester United<\/a> winger left Old Trafford in 2024 and completed a season-long move to Stamford Bridge, with a view to buy from Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Chelsea\u2019s deal with United over Sancho<\/a> last August included an agreement for the Blues to sign the Red Devils player for a fee between \u00a320m to \u00a325m this summer.<\/p>\n

The Blues\u2019 obligation to buy the United star became active after ensuring they would finish at least 14th or above in the Premier League table in the 2024-25 campaign.<\/p>\n

However, it was later revealed that Chelsea could choose to pay a \u00a35m penalty fee instead and send Sancho back to Old Trafford in the summer instead<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Chelsea incurred the \u00a35m fee for Jadon Sancho<\/a> and the Blues went against making the former England international\u2019s move to Stamford Bridge permanent.<\/p>\n

Sancho\u2019s move to Chelsea collapsed earlier this month<\/a> after the club and the player\u2019s representatives could not agree on a contract amid the need to take a pay cut.<\/p>\n

La Gazzetta dello Sport previously reported that Sancho had been linked with Juventus<\/a> and the Old Lady were considering a potential swap deal for the player.<\/p>\n

Sancho could be offloaded to Juventus<\/a> after his Chelsea move collapsed and Manchester United could bring Serbia striker Dusan Vlahovic<\/a> to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with United<\/a> and the Italian club are keen to sell the 25-year-old Serbian and to cut down their wage bill with his transfer this summer.<\/p>\n

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport<\/a> now reports that Vlahovic could dig \u2018his heels in\u2019 at the Turin-based club and could scupper a move to Juventus for Sancho<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Italian newspaper reported that Dusan Vlahovic\u2019s decision would mean that Juventus \u2018will not be able to do much\u2019 with trying to force a transfer.<\/p>\n

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus could try to \u2018push him to leave using the Chiesa method\u2019 as one tactic, which would mean \u2018leaving him out of the squad.\u2019<\/p>\n

It is believed that Vlahovic\u2019s \u2018initial plan\u2019 was conceived \u2018a year ago\u2019 and he wanted to remain at the Allianz Stadium until his contract expired in 2026.<\/p>\n

The Serbia international would then be able to \u2018leave for free\u2019 and secure a salary \u2018similar to the current one\u2019 that he has at Juventus, who signed him in 2022.<\/p>\n
