Manny Pacquiao<\/a> has weighed in on the upcoming \u2018super-fight\u2019 between Canelo Alvarez<\/a> and Terence Crawford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After weeks of speculation it was finally confirmed earlier this month that the pound-for-pound stars will do battle on Saturday September 13 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.<\/a><\/p>\n

Canelo is set to make the first defence of his undisputed super-middleweight championship against \u2018Bud\u2019 in what is his second reign as champion after he defeated IBF champion William Scull in Riyadh on May 3.<\/a><\/p>\n

Eight-division world champion Pacquiao has spoken out and shared his thoughts on the upcoming showdown between Canelo and Crawford, which has been regarded by many as being the \u2018biggest fight in boxing\u2019.<\/p>\n

Whilst speaking to ESNEWS<\/a>, Pacquiao didn\u2019t hesitate to give his backing to Mexican icon Canelo, who has been a dominant force at super-middleweight since he made the jump up from 160lbs seven years ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he\u2019ll [Canelo] win this fight.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Since making his debut at 168lbs against Rocky Fielding in 2018, Canelo has gone on to defeat the likes of Gennady Golovkin, Jermell Charlo and Jaime Munguia amongst others.<\/p>\n

He made a brief move up to light-heavyweight to dethrone WBO champion Sergey Kovalev in 2019, but fell short in his second outing at 175lbs against former undisputed champion Dmitry Bivol three years later.<\/p>\n
