Rosie O\u2019Donell has hit out at her one-time friend<\/a>\u00a0and collaborator\u00a0Oprah Winfrey for attending Amazon founder Jeff Bezos\u2019 much-publicised (and widely-mocked<\/a>) wedding.<\/p>\n

The multi-award-winning former daytime talk show host and panellist on The View \u2013 who recently relocated to Ireland in light of Donald Trump\u2019s re-election as president<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 shared her thoughts on Bezos\u2019 recent wedding in a candid poem posted on her Substack<\/a>, writing that it had \u201cturned my stomach seeing all these billionaires gathering in the gross excess of it all\u201d.<\/p>\n

Bezos and his now-wife Lauren S\u00e1nchez\u2019s wedding was attended by guests like Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Ivanka Trump, as well as Oprah, who was specifically name-checked later in Rosie\u2019s post.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs Oprah friends with Jeff [Bezos?] Really \u2013 how is that possible?\u201d Rosie questioned. \u201cHe treats his employees with disdain, by any metric he is not a nice man.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also took aim at S\u00e1nchez, who she branded Bezos\u2019 \u201cfake fem bot wife\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Bezos] sold his soul is what it looks like from here,\u201d she continued. \u201cThe devil is smiling at all his conquests.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bezos and S\u00e1nchez\u2019s days-long wedding took place in Venice last week, and was not only met with a wave of derision on social media<\/a>, but also hundreds of protesters in the real world<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Many of these demonstrators voiced their frustration that the wedding ceremony \u2013 which is reported to have cost between \u00a334 million and \u00a341 million<\/a> \u2013 only fuelled many of the issues currently facing Venice, including overtourism and climate change.<\/p>\n
