Sir Rod Stewart delivered a truly memorable performance at Glastonbury Festival. Taking the Pyramid Stage by storm on Sunday afternoon, Sir Rod owned the coveted Legends slot.<\/p>\n
He proved he’s still a legendary entertainer, dazzling with a medley of his major hits including ‘Maggie May’, ‘Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?’ and ‘Sailing’, and delighting the audience with other crowd-pleasers like ‘Love Train’.<\/p>\n
The set was elevated with appearances from an array of special guests such as Mick Hucknall, Ronnie Wood, and Lulu.<\/p>\n
Read more <\/strong>Rod Stewart ‘silent for days’ after ‘shock’ diagnosis and strict rule for Penny Lancaster<\/a><\/p>\n In a touching homage, Sir Rod honoured the late Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac, who passed away in November 2022, by projecting her image on the big screen for all of Glastonbury to see.<\/p>\n The enthusiastic crowd flocked to catch Sir Rod’s epic show, staying refreshed with cups of water as temperatures soared across the festival grounds, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n Yet, despite the excitement, Lulu, one of Rod’s guests during the afternoon performance, had a slightly awkward entrance.<\/p>\n Rod introduced Ronnie Wood and then Lulu, but as Ronnie promptly made his way on stage, Lulu was nowhere in sight.<\/p>\n
