Magazine<\/a> that William paid federal taxes on the wages, even though he did not disclose how much. The Prince of Wales\u2019 Duchy of Cornwall estate generated \u00a323.6 million (roughly $30 million) in the last financial year, per the estate\u2019s Integrated Annual Report published on Wednesday, July 24. (William, 42, inherited the estate and the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<p>William and his immediate family \u2014 including <strong>Princess Kate Middleton <\/strong>and three kids: <strong>Prince George<\/strong>, 11, <strong>Princess Charlotte<\/strong>, 10, and <strong>Prince Louis<\/strong>, 7 \u2014 get paid through the Duchy of Cornwall, which is a private estate established in 1337. (The Prince of Wales is also the Duke of Cornwall.)<\/p>\n<p>William\u2019s recently reported salary is less than he made last year. The previous royal salary report, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/prince-williams-annual-salary-published-in-royal-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">released in July 2024<\/a>, stated William made \u00a323.6 million (which converts to about $32.4 million) in the 2023\u20132024 year.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to taking the throne, <strong>King Charles III<\/strong> was in his eldest son\u2019s position. The Sovereign Grant was worth 86.3 million English pounds, or the equivalent of nearly [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps one of the biggest reveals in the report was news that Charles would decommission the Royal Train in 2027 following two costly trips in this past financial year, which were estimated to be a combined total of about \u00a378,000 (which converts to about $107,000.)<\/p>\n<p>Prior to her 2022 death, <strong>Queen Elizabeth II<\/strong> favored the Royal Train as a method of transportation. However, Keeper of the Privy Purse, <strong>James Chalmers<\/strong>, stated in the report that the decommissioning will be part of the royal family\u2019s ongoing modernization strategy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Royal Train has been part of national life for many decades, loved and cared for by all those involved.
