NEW Celebrity Big Brother star Donna Preston was branded a \u201cbully\u201d after laying into Christine McGuinness on a panel show.<\/p>\n

Christine<\/a> herself has been in talks for the reality show before but never made it into the spy house.<\/p>\n

Donna<\/a> will feature on the ITV<\/a> reality show when it begins on Monday<\/a> but was working alongside Joel Dommett<\/a> on ITV2<\/a> series Hey Tracey! in 2019, when it is claimed she overstepped the mark with insults so savage they left Christine in tears and on the verge of quitting showbiz.<\/p>\n

Christine, 35, did not name her tormentor but wrote of the incident in her autobiography A Beautiful Nightmare.<\/p>\n

But The Sun has revealed it was Donna, 36, behind her tears.<\/p>\n

Christine claims she was \u201cbullied\u201d after being greeted with the line: \u201cI\u2019ve got no f***ing idea who you are. I don\u2019t care who you are, I don\u2019t know who you think you are, and I don\u2019t know what you\u2019re even doing here.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are really beautiful, aren\u2019t you? But there\u2019s nothing else.\u201d<\/p>\n

Christine wrote that she\u2019d prepared herself for a roasting but struggled to hit back with \u201cbanter.”<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cI was mortified, embarrassed and humiliated, I felt so s***!<\/p>\n

\u201cBut she went on and on. ‘Just f**king stop now!’ my brain screamed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI returned to my hotel shaken and in floods of tears – I\u2019ve never cried so much!<\/p>\n

\u201cI was really upset about it and ever since then it\u2019s always been a focus in my mind. <\/p>\n

\u201cDo I actually want to be on TV? Is this for me? Do I want to stay as a TV personality?\u201d<\/p>\n

Christine adds that the directors checked on her afterwards and her agent requested the footage did not make the final cut.<\/p>\n

And she says that the presenter contacted her on social media afterwards to apologise.<\/p>\n

Christine explained: \u201cI didn\u2019t reply and haven\u2019t spoken to her since.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not a bully and I don\u2019t pick on anybody, so I don\u2019t want to associate myself with somebody like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joel, 36, has insisted any comment was made in jest and that he personally reached out to Top Gear\u2019s Paddy McGuinness<\/a> – Christine\u2019s then husband – to check she was ok and praise her time on the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don’t like anyone to feel like they went away from the show unhappy. No one expressed their concerns to me but I do like to make sure everyone is happy if they are on a show with me.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope she is ok.\u201d<\/p>\n

Donna is best known for her role on Apocalypse Wow and appears as Despair in The Sandman which was released on Netflix in 2022.<\/p>\n

But a role on Channel 4\u2019s Scared Of The Dark in 2023 took her on to primetime TV and she has since featured as a panellist on Big Brother spin-off show Late & Live.<\/p>\n
