Metropolitan Police has confirmed that two men were injured in a stabbing in central Catford this afternoon, with another man of unspecified age arrested and being held in custody.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for the force said: “At 13:42hrs on Tuesday, 1 July Met officers, the London Ambulance Service and London\u2019s Air Ambulance responded to reports of a stabbing in Rushey Green, Catford.<\/p>\n
“Two men in their 30s suffered stab wounds and have been taken to hospital. It is not yet known if their injuries are life-changing or life-threatening.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“Officers remain at the location and a crime scene has been established.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“A man (age awaits) has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and affray. He remains in police custody. Several lines of enquiry are ongoing.<\/p>\n
