Sheffield Wednesday are encountering a nightmare thanks to Dejphon Chansiri\u2019s worsening financial mismanagement at Hillsborough.<\/strong><\/p>\n Owls owner Chansiri failed to pay player and staff wages<\/a> on time, or at all in some cases, in both May and June. <\/p>\n After seeing their salaries paid late for two consecutive months, Sheffield Wednesday players are now able to leave South Yorkshire on free transfers, subject to a 15-day notice period. <\/p>\n Meanwhile, boss Danny Rohl has attracted interest from Brentford<\/a> as the Bees look to appoint fresh coaching staff for new manager Keith Andrews.<\/p>\n Amid their financial turmoil, Sheffield Wednesday have agreed to sell Caelan-Kole Cadamarteri<\/a> to Premier League title hopefuls Manchester City.<\/p>\n But the academy starlet will be far from the Owls\u2019 only summer departure, as the Sheffield Star<\/a> revealed on Tuesday, 1 July, that some players have now handed in their notice after Chansiri failed to meet his wage obligations for a second consecutive month. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n MORE FOOTBALL INSIDER STORIES<\/p>\n Meanwhile, despite supporters\u2019 understandably growing frustrations, Chansiri has rejected two offers to buy Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> from a Florida-based consortium.<\/p>\n Some Sheffield Wednesday players have handed in their notice in response to ongoing pay issues at the club, The Star understands\u2026<\/p>\n Not clear yet on how many have, or still will, but it\u2019s started.
