A father-of-one has been named as the man stabbed to death in a suspected murder that has seen two teenagers arrested. Kamran Aman, who was 38, died following a reported stabbing in Barry<\/a> Road, Barry, shortly before midnight on Monday.<\/p>\n Police have confirmed two teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of murder while cordons remain in place in the Vale of Glamorgan town as the investigation continues. Don\u2019t miss a court report by signing up to our crime newsletter here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n A South Wales Police<\/a> statement late on Tuesday said: \u201cThe man who died in Barry on Monday night has been named as 38-year-old Kamran Aman.<\/p>\n \u201cPolice were called to a report of stabbing in Barry Road just before midnight last night.<\/p>\n \u201cFather-of-one Kamran died and a murder investigation was launched.<\/p>\n “His family continue to be supported by specially-trained officers.<\/p>\n \u201cAn incident room has been set up at Cardiff<\/a> Central Police Station and detectives are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.\u201d<\/p>\n Detective superintendent Mark O\u2019Shea, of the force\u2019s Major Crime Team, said: \u201cExtensive inquiries are continuing as we establish the tragic events which took place on Monday night.<\/p>\n \u201cOur thoughts are with the family and friends of Kamran Aman.<\/p>\n \u201cPolice cordons and road closures are still in place and I would like to thank the community for their continued support and understanding while we progress the investigation.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please come forward with information no matter how insignificant they may feel it is.\u201d<\/p>\n Two males, aged 16 and 17, from Llantwit Major, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.<\/p>\n Get daily breaking news<\/strong> updates on your phone by joining our WhatsApp community here<\/a>.
