South Korea&#8217;s Kospi was 0.42% lower while the Kosdaq was flat. Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.AXJO\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">S&amp;P\/ASX 200<\/a> inched up 0.49%.<\/p>\n<p>Hong Kong&#8217;s<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.HSI\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Hang Seng index<\/a> rose 0.73% while the mainland CSI 300 was flat.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/06\/30\/stock-market-today-live-updates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.S. stock futures<\/a> were little changed early Asian hours after investors began the second half of the year with a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/06\/30\/stock-market-today-live-updates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reduced appetite<\/a>\u00a0for technology stocks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/06\/29\/stock-market-today-live-updateshtml.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Overnight stateside,<\/a> the three major averages closed mixed. The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.SPX\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">S&amp;P 500<\/a>\u00a0inched down 0.11% and closed at 6,198.01, while the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.IXIC\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nasdaq Composite<\/a>\u00a0lost 0.82% to settle at 20,202.89.
