Racing Bulls and their partner HUGO have unveiled a special livery for the British Grand Prix in collaboration with Nigerian artist Slawn.<\/p>\n

Revealed by Slawn along with Liam Lawson<\/a> and Isack Hadjar<\/a> at the Flannels X store in London this evening, the link-up sees the VCARB 02 adorned with Slawn\u2019s caricature style street art.<\/p>\n

The artwork will also feature on the drivers\u2019 race suits and the team\u2019s kit across the weekend, while Slawn will also be in the paddock on Thursday alongside Lawson and Hadjar where the squad say he will be \u201cdesigning the garage IRL\u201d.<\/p>\n

Slawn\u2019s famed graffiti aesthetic \u2013 rooted in his Yoruba heritage and London\u2019s urban culture \u2013 has seen him make his name in the city\u2019s art landscape. He has also previously made a foray into the world of sports, having designed the Emirates FA Cup Trophy in May this year.<\/p>\n

Racing Bulls<\/a> say of the collaboration: \u201cHis work challenges traditional art norms and thrives on hype and disruption, making it a perfect synergy between VCARB and HUGO.\u201d<\/p>\n

Peter Bayer<\/a>, the team\u2019s CEO, said: \u201cSlawn\u2019s work is unlike anything we\u2019ve seen in Formula 1, and that\u2019s exactly why this collaboration felt right. Partnering with HUGO and Slawn has allowed us to push creative boundaries in a way that reflects the bold identity of our team.<\/p>\n

\u201cSilverstone<\/a> is a massive moment in the season, and we\u2019re proud to bring something completely original to our fans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Slawn commented: “Art meets speed, and I brought the madness. Big love to HUGO and VCARB for trusting the vision.\u201d<\/p>\n
