Further to our recent report<\/strong><\/a> on the Council\u2019s proposals to develop the land around Elland Road stadium into a new neighbourhood, a series of consultation events have been arranged.<\/p>\n The Council\u2019s vision is the regenerate the area with up to 2,000 new homes being built alongside leisure facilities and new arrangements for matchday parking.<\/p>\n These drop-in events are a chance to find out more about the proposals and discuss them with council staff in-person.<\/p>\n Events have already been held in Cottingley and Hunslet and continue today (2 July 2025) at Dewsbury Road Community Hub & Library, LS11 6PF from 4:30-6:30pm.<\/p>\n There are a further four sessions next week:<\/p>\n Tuesday 8 July \u2013 Beeston Village Community Centre, LS11 8DQ \u2013 8:15-10:15am<\/p>\n Wednesday 9 July \u2013 Beeston Village Community Centre, LS11 8DQ \u2013 3-5pm<\/p>\n Thursday 10 July \u2013 St Matthew\u2019s Community Centre, LS11 9NS \u2013 9:30-11:30am<\/p>\n Thursday 10 July \u2013 Watsonian Pavilion, Cross Flatts Park, LS11 7NA \u2013 1-2:30pm<\/p>\n The online consultation remains open until Friday 25 July at:\u00a0ellandroadneighbourhood.commonplace.is<\/strong><\/a> where you can view the proposals and add your comments.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n While you\u2019re here, can we ask a favour?<\/strong><\/p>\n South Leeds Life is published by a not-for-profit social enterprise.
