Marcus Rashford is sparking more interest in the Premier League following his loan move to Aston Villa.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After leaving Manchester United<\/a> on loan in January, Marcus Rashford<\/a> has been trying to rejuvenate his career at Aston Villa in the hope of earning a big summer move.<\/p>\n

Rashford has done reasonably well at Villa Park, scoring five goals and registering three assists in 22 games under Unai Emery, but he is far from his best from that he previously showed at United.<\/p>\n

After a bright start at Villa, Rashford earned a place in Thomas Tuchel\u2019s initial England squad and started in both matches.<\/p>\n

However, the United loanee<\/a> has made an impact on Emery after taking Ollie Watkins\u2019 place in the team<\/a>, despite ruffling his counterpart\u2019s feathers by getting a starting role in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

Things might be looking up for Rashford, but it\u2019s still a far cry from Rashford\u2019s Barcelona dream<\/a> that emerged before he left Old Trafford<\/a> in January.<\/p>\n

United would like to be in a position where Rashford is attracting significant interest because it would grant an opportunity to get a high earner off the wage books, especially one who has been thrown aside by Ruben Amorim<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Villa have an option to buy Rashford for around \u00a340 million<\/a> from United at the end of the loan deal in June, but that could depend on whether they secure Champions League<\/a> football for next season.<\/p>\n

A new report suggests Rashford could have more interest in the Premier League<\/a> if Aston Villa decide not to pursue a deal in the summer.<\/p>\n

According to The Sun<\/a>, Crystal Palace are plotting a swoop for Rashford if Villa change their mind about signing the England forward on a permanent deal.<\/p>\n

It is understood that Palace executives are monitoring the striker\u2019s form at Villa and they are interested in talking to the player at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Palace are currently 12th in the Premier League \u2013 two places above United \u2013 and have qualified for the FA Cup<\/a> semi-final against Villa under Oliver Glasner, who has an exciting squad consisting of players such as Adam Wharton, Eberechi Eze and Ismaila Sarr.<\/p>\n

A source told the newspaper: \u201cPalace are keeping a very close eye on Rashford and what happens with Villa and United.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a good buzz around the club at the moment and someone like Marcus is exactly the kind of player that they would love to attract.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey know they would have to keep onto their better players to try and persuade Marcus to move to South London.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rashford return not ruled out<\/p>\n

United could find themselves in a dilemma if Villa back out of signing Rashford and he doesn\u2019t reach an agreement with any of the potential suitors.<\/p>\n

The Sun\u2019s report claims a return to Old Trafford<\/a> has not been ruled out given United\u2019s goalscoring problems, even though Rashford was unable to fix them before his temporary exit.<\/p>\n

However, a Rashford return would depend on whether he heals his relationship with head coach Amorim.<\/p>\n
