Noel Gallagher<\/a> has spoken about why he feels Oasis have had such a long-lasting legacy in a new interview just days ahead of the band\u2019s big reunion tour.<\/p>\n

Noel will reunite with his brother Liam <\/a>on stage for the first time in 16 years with a huge show in Cardiff <\/a>on Friday night (July 4) in front of thousands of super fans who beat the odds to secure tickets to the highly sought-after first gig.<\/p>\n

Following a second show in the Welsh capital, the Gallagher brothers will then make their way to their hometown of Manchester for five huge homecoming shows at Heaton Park<\/a> between July 11 and 20.<\/p>\n

The tour programme for the Live \u201825 tour has been available for fans to buy at the Cardiff Principality Stadium since this morning<\/a> (July 2) as a pop-up merch stand opened its doors for the first time.<\/p>\n

Inside, the programme has featured new comments from Noel about the band\u2019s start and the secret to their success, reports The Mirror<\/a>. He also spoke of Oasis\u2019 younger fans and why so many people tried to get tickets for the reunion tour.<\/p>\n

Noel said: \u201cA new generation recognises how Oasis wasn\u2019t manufactured. It was chaotic, and flawed, and not technically brilliant. We were rough and ready guys from a rehearsal room, and people recognised it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, frontman Liam also shared some new thoughts on the band and the upcoming tour dates as he spoke with designer fashion brand Burberry as part of his latest collaboration.<\/p>\n

Asked what makes a great frontman, Liam said: \u201cI mean being able to sing is good. Just getting on with your job and doing it, and trying to get a vibe going and looking cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also discussed some of the things he would miss whilst on the road<\/a>, including his rescue dog Buttons, as well as speaking about how the Stone Roses inspired him to become a musician.<\/p>\n

In preparation for the Heaton Park gigs later this month, the city has been getting into the Oasis spirit of things with everything from themed buses and trams to art murals honouring the famous musicians.<\/p>\n

Yesterday (July 1), fellow Manchester music legend Clint Boon helped unveil a new mosaic of the Gallagher brothers<\/a> outside of Afflecks. The mosaic forms part of the shopping emporium\u2019s now-iconic mosaic wall designed by artist Mark Kennedy and was created on behalf of the Definitely Maybe bar.<\/p>\n

The venue, on the corner of Tib Street, is the UK\u2019s only Oasis-themed bar and has a plethora of signed merchandise and rare items relating to the band, including a pair of underpants and vinyl records.<\/p>\n

Happy Mondays star Bez was also recently announced to be getting involved in the city\u2019s Oasismania by hosting one of the official afterparties after the first Heaton Park gig. He admitted he was ready to ‘rinse’ the spotlight right now.<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition, an art trail of guitars,<\/a> including one donated by the Gallagher brothers, will also be unveiled to the public next week and will be available for people to view throughout the summer.
