Battery information for next year’s Galaxy S26 Ultra has leaked courtesy of our friends over at Galaxy Club<\/a>. It seems like we are going to have to wait another year for a battery capacity upgrade. The Galaxy S26 Ultra uses a 5,000 mAh battery like all previous Galaxy S Ultra smartphones.\n<\/p>\n

Galaxy Club has an impeccable track record when it comes to leaking details like these, so we can be pretty sure that Samsung won’t surprise us when the Galaxy S26 series<\/a> goes official next year. There is no mention of charging speeds, but we can assume we won’t see any changes on that front either.<\/p>\n

If the battery capacity will once again be 5,000 mAh, it goes without saying that Samsung will not be adapting the new silicon-carbon battery tech. Silicon-carbon batteries can store considerably more energy in the same physical space, and almost every new flagship phone from Chinese manufacturers has one these days. <\/p>\n

The Galaxy S25 Edge packs its battery more densely than other Galaxy S25 models, but it still uses a traditional lithium-ion battery that offers no notable advantage. Its only benefit was that it helped Samsung pack a slightly bigger battery<\/a> inside the Galaxy S25 Edge’s super-thin chassis than what we might have gotten otherwise.\n<\/p>\n

Samsung could still introduce bigger batteries for the other Galaxy S26 models, including the Galaxy S26 Edge. But it’s too early to say.
