A police probe has been launched after a woman was found dead at a busy Glasgow<\/a> shopping centre on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n Emergency services<\/a> raced to Shawlands Arcade on Kilmarnock Road, in the southside of the city, at around 9.55am on July 2, after receiving reports of a death.<\/p>\n The 53-year-old was discovered inside a premises within the building. The shopping centre<\/a> remained open while crews were on scene.<\/p>\n Her death is being treated as unexplained<\/a>, but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances at this stage.<\/p>\n A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAround 9.55am on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, officers were made aware of the death of a 53-year-old woman at a premises<\/a> at Shawlands Arcade in Glasgow.<\/p>\n \u201cThe death is being treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances<\/a>.
