The PSNI has said that two children were transported to hospital after a collision between a car and scooter in Belfast.<\/p>\n

Police received a report of a road traffic collision involving a car and a scooter in the Broadway area of south Belfast at around 2.55pm on Wednesday 2 July.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s understood the incident involved an electric scooter.<\/p>\n

Officers attended, alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.<\/p>\n

Two children were taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries, which aren\u2019t believed to be life-threatening.<\/p>\n

Enquiries are ongoing.<\/p>\n

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said it received a 999 call at 2.58pm on Wednesday 2 July, following reports of an road traffic collision in the Broadway Link area.<\/p>\n

NIAS despatched three Emergency Ambulance Crews.<\/p>\n
