Celtic will be backed by a full house at Parkhead once again after the club confirmed season tickets had sold out for the 2025\/26 season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brendan Rodgers\u2019<\/a> side won a domestic double last season and will be going in search of a fifth league title in a row, with hopes of completing a Treble this time around.<\/p>\n

The Hoops have made four signings already this transfer window<\/a> and will look to secure more signatures ahead of the start of the season in August.<\/p>\n

Although there\u2019s been a great show of support once again, Celtic<\/a> fans believe one thing needs to change.<\/p>\n

Celtic Park<\/a> hasn\u2019t been renovated since the late 1990s and has held a capacity of 60,800.<\/p>\n

As one of the best-supported clubs around the world, demand is always high for tickets, in particular season tickets.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s never been easy to get your hands on and while there are development works going on at Paradise<\/a>, supporters have called for an upgrade on the stadium.<\/p>\n

Can Celtic Park be expanded?<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail<\/a> revealed in November 2024 that the stadium does have potential to be expanded and that the main stand would be the priority if any wholesale changes were to be made.<\/p>\n

Of course, any major development like this costs money and the report stated that it could reach in excess of \u00a380m.<\/p>\n

There would be also the small matter of accommodating season ticket holders elsewhere so any decision would never be an easy one, but it does feel like the tide is turning and an upgrade will be needed sooner rather than later. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
