They also work faster, allowing more people to receive treatment each week.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.climateaction.gov.wales\/green-choices\/?utm_source=online&amp;utm_medium=nation_cymru&amp;utm_campaign=sbw_caw_mygreenchoices_mayjune25_eng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/CAW049319-STATIC-IMAGES-NATION-CYMRU.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Commitment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, Jeremy Miles said: \u201cThis new, state-of-the-art equipment will provide more precise and faster treatment for people with cancer, improving access to radiotherapy services and cutting waiting times.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is another example of the Welsh Government\u2019s commitment to improving outcomes for people and follows similar investments in new equipment in Wales\u2019 other cancer centres.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Head of Radiotherapy Physics at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Jaap Vaarkamp added: \u201cThis new equipment will help us to deliver innovative, patient-centred care through simplified treatments, reduced delivery times and highly improved imaging. It will help ensure we deliver targeted treatment, when it is needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre is one of three specialist cancer centres in Wales that deliver external beam radiotherapy services.
