{"id":234080,"date":"2025-07-03T07:08:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T07:08:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/234080\/"},"modified":"2025-07-03T07:08:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-03T07:08:09","slug":"appeal-to-identify-man-who-died-after-collapsing-on-birmingham-street","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/234080\/","title":{"rendered":"Appeal to identify man who died after collapsing on Birmingham street"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The man, who is only known as \u2018George\u2019 collapsed on Slade Road, near the junction with George Road, in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.expressandstar.com\/news\/local-hubs\/birmingham\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Erdington<\/a> on April 30.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ambulance colleagues took him to hospital, where he sadly later died.<\/p>\n<p>Despite a post-mortem examination and thorough investigations by our officers and the Coroner\u2019s office, the man\u2019s identity is still not known.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westmidlands.police.uk\/news\/west-midlands\/news\/news\/2025\/july\/appeal-as-man-dies-after-collapsing-in-erdington\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">West Midlands Police <\/a>believe George was approximately 48 years old, with a scar on his forehead and left arm.
