Manchester United and Tottenham are reportedly showing the \u2018strongest interest\u2019 in Inter Milan star Davide Frattesi as the Red Devils target two\u00a0Nerazzurri midfielders.<\/p>\n
The Red Devils have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves for \u00a362.5m and are currently negotiating with Brentford over a move for Bryan Mbeumo<\/a><\/strong> having had two bids rejected for the Cameroon international, the latest of which is thought to have fallen just short of the Bees\u2019 \u00a365m demand.<\/p>\n But Ruben Amorim also wants to add a new midfielder to his ranks with Christian Eriksen leaving the club on a free transfer at the end of his contract.<\/p>\n A report on Wednesday<\/a><\/strong> claimed United have put a \u00a343m \u2018offer on the table\u2019 for Paris Saint-Germain\u2019s Fabian Ruiz in the back of a\u00a0a brilliant season from the Spain international which saw him help the French side to the Ligue 1 title and Champions League glory.<\/p>\n United are said to believe Ruiz \u2018could be the silent leader who breathes life into the team from midfield, providing balance and quality in key areas\u2019 but the report admits that \u2018it won\u2019t be easy to convince PSG to part ways\u2019 with the Spaniard.<\/p>\n But Amorim doesn\u2019t have a great to spend on a squad rebuild this summer after failing to qualify for Europe and CaughtOffside claim<\/a><\/strong> the club bosses have \u2018made an approach\u2019 to Inter to \u2018ask for information\u2019 on Fratessi after the Serie A side slashed his asking price.<\/p>\n Previously valued at \u20ac50m [\u00a343m], it\u2019s now thought Inter are willing to listen to offers of around \u20ac35m [\u00a330m] for the 25-year-old, who moved to the\u00a0Nerazzurri from Sassuolo for \u00a327m last summer after an initial season-long loan.<\/p>\n \u2018Multiple sources have confirmed United have shown an interest\u2019, the report claims, and the Red Devils have \u2018contacted Inter to gain an understanding of the conditions of the deal\u2019.<\/p>\n MORE MAN UTD COVERAGE ON F365\u2026<\/strong> Tottenham, Atletico Madrid and Roma are also said to be \u2018keeping an eye on him\u2019 though \u2018there have not yet been any formal talks, negotiations, or offers made, with Frattesi yet to decide his future\u2019.<\/p>\n The report adds:<\/p>\n \u2018The 25-year-old is understood to be taking his time to work out if he wants to leave Inter, though the Nerazzuri themselves are prepared to let him go.<\/p>\n \u2018United and Tottenham are understood to be showing the strongest interest, but it remains to be seen if the player himself will be ready to move to English football.<\/p>\n \u2018Frattesi has not communicated a desire to leave, and one imagines he could still have a role to play at Inter.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
