Photograph: Stefanos Rapanis\/Reuters<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">A separate fire broke out in <strong>Halkidiki<\/strong> region of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/greece\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" data-component=\"auto-linked-tag\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Greece<\/a>, with 160 firefighters and 49 vehicles involved in emergency response, the fire service said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">The service warned that the country was entering <strong>\u201cthe most difficult month of the fire season,\u201d<\/strong> with strong winds contributing to their spread.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-16w5gq9\">Separate wildfires were reported in <strong>Germany<\/strong>, where at least two were seriously injured and over 100 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bild.de\/regional\/sachsen\/waldbrand-in-sachsen-flammen-bedrohen-biogasanlage-in-der-gohrischheide-6865b5bfaa0dfb270f804002\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reportedly<\/a> evacuated in a forest fire in <strong>Saxony, <\/strong>and in <strong>Spain.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The forest floor is on fire in a wooded area on the Saalfelder H\u00f6he, in Reichmannsdorf, Germany.
