David Brindley has been appointed chief executive of Twofour following Tim Carter\u2019s ascent to UK managing director of unscripted at ITV Studios.<\/p>\n
Brindley, who has been acting as chief creative officer at the label behind the upcoming Destination X on BBC1 and The Box on ITV1, replaces Carter at the top of the company.<\/p>\n
As chief executive, Brindley will be responsible for the company\u2019s overall strategy, vision and continued growth and will report into Carter.<\/p>\n
Carter, who had replaced Angela Jain after her exit to Disney last month, has also made further changes to the label\u2019s senior leadership team.<\/p>\n
Dan Adamson becomes chief content officer, David Clews is made chief creative officer, and Shireen Abbott becomes chief of production.<\/p>\n
In his the newly created role, Adamson will lead on blending editorial with commercial, creating new shows and building them into global brands. Clews will take on an expanded remit leading Twofour\u2019s creative strategy and developing new IP as well as ensuring excellence and ambition in the company\u2019s output.<\/p>\n
Abbott\u2019s role is also new, with the exec leading on the expansion of the production management team behind the delivery of Twofour\u2019s ambitious slate.<\/p>\n
The management team is completed by Jake Roberts, who continues as financial director.<\/p>\n
Twofour is known for its high-end unscripted reality, entertainment and adventure formats, with programming including Apple TV+\u2019s award-winning series The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy and a new series of Educating Yorkshire on Channel 4, besides dating formats I Kissed A Boy and I Kissed A Girl. It also works with talent such as Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Rob Brydon, Dannii Minogue, Matt and Emma Willis, Rosie Jones, Roman Kemp and Big Zuu.<\/p>\n

The shows they\u2019ve created over the past five years speak for themselves. With their ambition and talent, Twofour is set for greater creative achievement and robust growth\u201d.<\/p>\n
