A huge drone display showing Oasis<\/a>\u2019 logo appeared in Cardiff. Check it out below, along with fresh audio of the band at a soundcheck.<\/p>\n

The display was seen for a brief time last night (July 2) above the Principality Stadium, where Liam<\/a> and Noel Gallagher<\/a> will kick off the first of 19 shows in the UK and Ireland<\/a> tomorrow night (Friday July 4).<\/p>\n

The drones were flown in a formation to produce the Britpop band\u2019s classic logo in the sky, building hype for the highly anticipated first night of the tour.<\/p>\n

It will mark their first live show together in 16 years, following their split in 2009. With support coming from Richard Ashcroft<\/a> and Cast<\/a>, the UK and Ireland run includes seven dates at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium<\/a>. It will be followed by gigs in Canada, the US, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil<\/a>, before wrapping up on November 23 in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n

As well as the light display last night, Oasis have also been heard by fans in what appears to be a recording from another recent soundcheck.<\/p>\n

In footage shared from fans outside the stadium, the band were heard playing classic tracks \u2018Some Might Say\u2019 and \u2018Stand By Me\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cTook a cycle down to the stadium, soundcheck happening in right now, \u2018Stand by me\u2019,\u201d one fan wrote on X. \u201cMust say I am super jealous, Noel sounds in top form,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The audio of the band at the Principality Stadium follows other alleged audio snippets of Oasis at the venue earlier this week<\/a>, where they were heard playing \u2018Cigarettes & Alcohol\u2019.<\/p>\n

The clips have caused some discourse among fans. While some believe that Liam, Noel and the rest of Oasis<\/a> were in the building, others argued that it was just a pre-taped recording used to test sound levels.<\/p>\n

Liam has weighed in on the debate too, jokingly reacting to the clip and critiquing himself. \u201cMmm I\u2019m not sure about the vocals there, too aggressive,\u201d he quipped. \u201cHe really needs to take a chill pill, man. He\u2019s just so angry all the time. I don\u2019t know who he thinks he is, as far as I\u2019m concerned, he\u2019s just a bigmouth from up north\u201d.<\/p>\n

He then added in a separate post that it was \u201cdefo a recording from rehearsals. Unless there\u2019s two of me, which I\u2019m absolutely one million per cent here for\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

In the run up to the shows \u2013 which are set to have mostly dry weather conditions<\/a> \u2013 the singer has revealed that the opening show in Cardiff will have a start time of 8:15pm<\/a>, telling fans: \u201cDon\u2019t be late or we\u2019ll start without you and you don\u2019t want that now do ya\u201d. Shortly afterwards, official doors and stage times for the opening acts were revealed on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not just the drone display building hype either. Aldi has renamed a Manchester branch \u201cAldeh\u201d<\/a> in honour of the upcoming reunion tour, and Lidl has launched a special \u2018Lidl By Lidl\u2019 reunion jacket inspired by Liam\u2019s Berghaus coat.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

The Gallagher Brothers recently reunited on camera to launch a line of Adidas Originals gear too<\/a>, and they then teamed up with Bohemian FC for a new football shirt to mark their comeback.<\/a><\/p>\n

In the past few weeks, Oasis have urged fans to book their places now for the \u2018Live \u201825\u2019 merchandise pop-up stores<\/a> in order to avoid queues, and Liam has also responded to reports that their crew have not been given tickets to the reunion tour<\/a>, joking that they \u201cdon\u2019t have friends\u201d.<\/p>\n
