Shannon Briggs<\/a> has shared his verdict on a fantasy showdown between Mike Tyson<\/a> and Muhammad Ali<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tyson and Ali are two of the greatest heavyweight\u2019s to have ever laced up the gloves, proving their dominance throughout their respective prime years.<\/p>\n

Ali rose to fame during the early sixties, capturing world honours for the very first time in 1964 when he put on the performance of a lifetime to stop Sonny Liston in the 6th round of their bout in Miami. He would go on to defeat a number of legendary heavyweights before the end of his career, including the likes of Joe Frazier, Ken Norton and George Foreman.<\/p>\n

Tyson began his professional career back in 1985 at just 18-years-old, establishing himself as a serious contender almost immediately. He defeated WBC heavyweight champion Trevor Berbick in November of 1986 to become the youngest heavyweight champion of all time<\/a>, a record that remains unbroken to this very day.<\/p>\n

In a round of \u2018Knockout\u2019 with Mail Sport Boxing, former WBO heavyweight champion made no mistake in backing Ali to prevail in a fantasy showdown with \u2018Iron Mike\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Ali changed the landscape of the sport throughout his storied career, proving to be one of, if not the greatest fighter of all time in the eyes of many.<\/p>\n

His unique fighting style, coupled with his extraordinary personality, has led to him becoming an influence on many current and ex-fighters over the years.<\/p>\n
