The production will run from\u00a0July 9-12, 2025\u00a0at Co-op Academy Manchester Theatre in Higher Blackley.<\/p>\n<p>The cast features young performers from primary, secondary and sixth form academies in Manchester, Swinton, Walkden and Failsworth. Backed by an\u00a018-piece orchestra\u00a0and a student-led backstage team, this large-scale production marks the Co-op Academies Trust\u2019s second major collaboration, following its acclaimed 2023 staging of\u00a0Les Mis\u00e9rables.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a hugely ambitious project, and we\u2019ve been thrilled by the enthusiasm of our students,\u201d said\u00a0Steve Brice, regional director and producer. \u201cThe musical is complex, but our cast has risen to the challenge. This production truly embodies our ethos of succeeding together. We hope local communities will come along to support these talented young people as they bring this classic to life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/JS374270940.jpg\" class=\"kg-image\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1502\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>The award-winning\u00a0Sweeney Todd &#8211; renowned for its gripping tale of revenge &#8211; has captivated audiences worldwide since its Tony Award-winning Broadway debut. This Manchester revival promises to deliver a thrilling experience, complete with professional sound, lighting, and atmospheric effects in a purpose-built auditorium offering excellent views from all seats.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are priced at\u00a0\u00a38 for adults\u00a0and\u00a0\u00a35 for concessions and can be purchased online at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ticketsource.co.uk\/cam\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">www.ticketsource.co.uk\/cam<\/a>.
