In recent weeks, the Duchess of Sussex<\/a> has dominated the spotlight following the launch of her new Netflix<\/a> series, As Ever<\/a> brand and new podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, with her highly lauded return to social media earlier this year having sent the media into a frenzy.<\/p>\n

Yet while many spouses could be accused of being victims of the green eyed monster in such a situation, Prince Harry<\/a> couldn\u2019t be prouder – or happier – with his wife\u2019s success, and even lifted the lid on precisely how much he is supporting her ventures in a new interview with PEOPLE <\/a>magazine.<\/p>\n

The Prince said: “I am so happy for my wife and fully support absolutely everything she\u2019s done and continues to do. I’m incredibly proud.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex, 40, has been a strong source of support throughout Meghan\u2019s entrepreneurial journey and now, for the first time since her brand\u2019s debut he has candidly revealed just how much joy her success has brought him.<\/p>\n

The latest vote of confidence comes after earlier words of support were shared in Meghan\u2019s Netflix series With Love, Meghan.<\/a> During the final episode, Harry made a brief appearance during a celebratory brunch for Meghan’s business, where the couple shared a quick kiss before Harry gushed: \u201cYou did a really great job. I love it.\u201d<\/p>\n

With family at the heart of everything Harry does, Meghan\u2019s rising popularity and return to the public eye since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, makes it all the more pivotal for the Prince to win his legal battle in the UK courts for state funded security.<\/p>\n

Concerns for the safety of his wife and two children Prince Archie<\/a> and Princess Lilibet,<\/a> have prompted a tireless fight with the UK government in a bid to restore his state funded security detail on visits to the UK, after it was revoked when he no longer wished to be a working royal.<\/p>\n

One of the Duke of Sussex’s core beliefs is that the stripping of security was a calculated attempt to control him<\/a> and Meghan in order to deter them from stepping away from royal life and emigrating to the US, and by Harry\u2019s own admission, it was a \u201cdifficult to swallow\u201d realisation.<\/p>\n

Harry is also continually haunted by the tragic demise of his mother Princess Diana,<\/a> who died in a Paris car crash back in 1997 after being chased by paparazzi – and crucially at the time of her death was only protected by private security.<\/p>\n

To make matters worse, the Prince is firmly of the opinion that his father King Charles<\/a> could easily intervene and reinstate his security to assure the safety of his family, however the fact he has not yet done this has only served to sour the relationship between father and son.<\/p>\n

By not committing to reinstating his enhanced security, Harry feels he has no choice but to keep his children away from the UK for their own safety, something which is significantly hindering their ability to connect with their heritage and build relationships with extended family.<\/p>\n

As the court appeal remains ongoing, many details have been omitted because of the sensitive nature of the case, but we do know that during the private hearings, Prince Harry<\/a> has been left deeply shaken by some of the information he has heard. \u201cPeople would be shocked by what\u2019s being held back,\u201d Harry said.<\/p>\n
