Six decades on, the company has established itself as a go-to for many here in the UK.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Now, to mark its birthday, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/food-drink-news\/\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">TGI Friday&#8217;s is changing the majority of its menu and giving customers free food.<\/a> From Friday, July 4, the restaurant is launching its \u201cbiggest menu refresh ever\u201d across all 49 UK restaurants &#8211; and to celebrate, diners can bag free food just by making a comeback themselves for seconds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Essentially, if customers try something new from the revamped menu during <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/liverpool-news\/independence-day-50-links-between-7360868\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Independence Day weekend<\/a> (Friday 4, Saturday 5, or Sunday 6 July) and come back any time in the same month, they can get the second dish for nothing.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/2_JS152252582jpgll-as.jpg\" alt=\"TGI Fridays at The New Mersey Retail Park, Speke. The fan-favourite Glazed Sesame Chicken Strips aren\u2019t included in the offer. This is because TGI Friday\u2019s wants you to ditch your usual order and &#8220;discover a new obsession&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Chief Executive at TGI Friday&#8217;s Julie McEwan <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">told the ECHO<\/a>: \u201cLiverpool has always had that unmistakable Friday&#8217;s spirit &#8211; vibrant, social and full of flavour.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;We\u2019ve been proud to share that energy with our Liverpool guests for more than a decade. New items include a Chicago-style hot dog and a beef dip sandwich, as well as a range of desserts including American Key lime pie and Mississippi mud pie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">For sides, you can expect southern-style BBQ pit beans.
