President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to
\nPresident Donald Trump on the occasion of the United States\u2019
\nnational holiday, Independence Day.<\/p>\n
In his letter, President Aliyev emphasized the great importance
\nAzerbaijan places on the friendly relations and partnership with
\nthe United States. He highlighted that the active and effective
\ncooperation between the two nations in strengthening international
\npeace and security, combating terrorism in its various forms,
\nensuring energy security, and other critical areas is a defining
\nfeature of their close partnership.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am pleased to note that the United States has been a reliable
\npartner of Azerbaijan in the energy sector for many years,\u201d
\nPresident Aliyev stated. He underscored that this cooperation,

\nthrive. Azerbaijan highly values the consistent support from the
\nUnited States for its energy strategy and the implementation of
\nmajor infrastructure projects that promote regional stability and
\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n
The letter further noted that there are excellent opportunities
\nto elevate Azerbaijan-U.S. relations to a new level. President
\nAliyev expressed confidence that significant potential exists for
\nexpanding mutually beneficial cooperation in fields such as
\neconomic-trade, energy, transportation, industry, aviation, high
\ntechnologies, and investments.<\/p>\n
President Aliyev affirmed his belief that, through resolute
\npolitical will and joint efforts, the relations and cooperation
\nbetween the two friendly and partner nations will continue to grow
\ncomprehensively, serving the interests of their peoples.<\/p>\n
