Tickets for the new service, which will operate on a Boeing 797-9, went on sale yesterday (July 3) \u2013 just a few days after Manchester Airport celebrated the inaugural of the North\u2019s only <a href=\"https:\/\/secretmanchester.com\/manchester-to-india-direct-flights\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretmanchester.com\/manchester-to-india-direct-flights\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_4\" data-category=\"click_internal\">direct service to Mumbai<\/a> with India\u2019s biggest airline IndiGo.<\/p>\n<p>Manchester Airport Managing Director<strong> Chris Woodroofe<\/strong> said: \u201cHere at Manchester Airport we\u2019re proud to connect the North to the world.
