{"id":23749,"date":"2025-04-16T03:49:09","date_gmt":"2025-04-16T03:49:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/23749\/"},"modified":"2025-04-16T03:49:09","modified_gmt":"2025-04-16T03:49:09","slug":"tomoki-iwata-does-something-at-birmingham-city-that-never-happened-at-celtic-as-tom-brady-heartbroken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/23749\/","title":{"rendered":"Tomoki Iwata does something at Birmingham City that never happened at Celtic, as Tom Brady heartbroken"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Tomoki Iwata made a surprise call to leave Celtic in the summer and join a team in England\u2019s third tier. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But, with the backing of Tom Brady, struggling Birmingham City came knocking with their financial power, and hopes of picking themselves up after relegation from the Championship. <\/p>\n<p>At the first time of asking, Birmingham have earned promotion and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.67hailhail.com\/news\/celtic-told-wonderful-ex-player-who-was-never-given-fair-shake-is-now-best-in-his-league\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Iwata has played a huge part<\/a>, after struggling to make a name for himself in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.67hailhail.com\/club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Celtic<\/a> colours. <\/p>\n<p>That included a 2-1 win over Peterborough United last Tuesday, which sealed Birmingham\u2019s success, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.67hailhail.com\/tag\/tomoki-iwata\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Iwata<\/a> starting and making himself even more popular with his new fans. <\/p>\n<p>But things went wrong for the ex-Celtic man at Wembley over the weekend, despite Birmingham\u2019s momentum.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"700\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/GettyImages-2210105981-1024x700.jpg\" alt=\"Photo by Catherine Ivill -
