Noel Gallagher’s ex-wife, Meg Matthews, has confirmed she will be going to Oasis’ reunion gig in London while posting a number of throwback snaps of the former couple<\/p>\n

Fans can’t wait for the Don’t Look Back In Anger stars to take to the stage in Cardiff t<\/a>onight when Liam and Noel will perform on stage together for the first time in 16 years.<\/p>\n

Every day this week, Meg, 59, has been posting throwback snaps of her and Noel, 58, on Instagram<\/a> amid reports the pair, who split up in 2001 after four years of marriage, may be giving things another go. Meg has denied the rumours, however, she did confirm she would be going to Oasis’ gig in London while interacting with the band’s fans.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram today, sharing a slew of old snaps of her and Noel larking about in a club, she wrote: “TODAY IS THE DAY 4th July 2025 Finally here \u2026.OASIS REUNION TOUR, Britpop was a British music and cultural movement that peaked in the mid-1990s, characterized by a revival of British guitar pop from the 1960s and 1970s, in contrast to American grunge.<\/p>\n

“It was not just a genre, but a reactionary and patriotic cultural response, celebrating British identity, working-class roots, and everyday life.<\/p>\n

“To everyone who\u2019s there when they walk on the stage at 8.15pm will be a piece of history.”<\/p>\n

Referencing the photo, she added: “That night was a lot of fun can\u2019t remember what after party gig it was .. back then there was always one which I was in charge of organising through @creationrecords money and fun had no limit back then.”<\/p>\n

Commenting on one of her most recent throwback posts, a fan asked Meg if she would be at the first London date, to which she simply responded: “Yes”.<\/p>\n

Meg has been sharing nostalgic snaps from her relationship with Noel every day in the week leading up to Oasis’ longed-for tour, which kicks off in Wales tonight.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, she marked the countdown to the kick-off by sharing sweet snaps of her and Noel from the ’90s and early ’00s.<\/p>\n

In a caption, she gushed: “DAY 2 COUNT DOWN \u2026. What song are they going to kick off with ? Let me know your thoughts below.”<\/p>\n

Meg famously wed Noel in June 1997 in Las Vegas before they welcomed daughter, Anais, who is reportedly going to the Cardiff gig tonight.<\/p>\n

The former couple were together for just four years before they went their separate ways and divorced, with Noel going on to marry Sara McDonald, who he is now also divorced from.<\/p>\n
