The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex stepped down from their public roles in 2020. After ditching the United Kingdom for a life in the United States, the couple made a series of bombshell claims against the royal family. Now, according to a recent report, there are plans in place to revoke Harry and Meghan\u2019s Sussex titles. <\/p>\n

A new report has alleged that Prince William<\/a> may not hesitate to strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their royal title when he takes the crown in the future. RadarOnline<\/a> exclusively learned from insiders that the Prince of Wales is still angered by his brother and his wife\u2019s public criticism of The Firm. A courtier told the outlet that King Charles was \u201cespecially stung by Harry labeling him an emotionally cold father\u201d in his memoir, \u201cSpare.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the courtier continued that despite \u201call the hurt\u201d that Harry \u201ccaused,\u201d Charles never took away his Sussex title. This is because he is reportedly \u201cconcerned\u201d about the \u201cbacklash.\u201d The late Queen Elizabeth II bestowed royal titles on Harry and Meghan on their wedding day in 2018. The couple stepped from their public roles in 2020. However, Harry and Meghan are seemingly holding onto their titles.<\/p>\n

The most recent occurrence was on the 43-year-old\u2019s Netflix show, \u201cWith Love, Meghan.\u201d While talking to her guest, Mindy Kaling, she said, \u201cIt\u2019s so funny you keep saying Meghan Markle.\u201d She added, \u201cYou know I\u2019m \u2018Sussex\u2019 now.\u201d The RadarOnline insider claimed the royals are \u201cabsolutely furious\u201d over Meghan continuing to \u201cflaunt the Sussex title for her and Harry\u2019s own self-gain.\u201d <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, unlike his monarch father, William has no concerns over revoking Harry and Meghan\u2019s titles. The insider alleged that the royals have \u201cquietly sanctioned the title removal.\u201d This would reportedly happen \u201cif Harry and Meghan\u00a0step out of line again.\u201d The insider even claimed that the palace \u201calready called several\u00a0secret meetings.\u201d It has been reportedly done to \u201cdiscuss the possibility and put an actionable plan in place.\u201d <\/p>\n
