The race kicks off with a flat stage, one for the quick men. Not only is a Tour de France stage up for grabs, but the winner will also wear the coveted yellow jersey. This could be the only time this happens in their whole career, it\u2019s a huge moment for the sprinters. Winning a Tour stage is special, but wearing the yellow jersey is a different level altogether. With so much on the line, it\u2019s going to be a dangerous day for the peloton, GC riders will be incredibly nervous. Every corner will be raced for and there\u2019s a high risk of crashes happening, this is one of the reasons sprints have been avoided as the opening stage in recent editions.
