Manchester United are scouring Europe for top talent as they attempt to rebuild their squad for Ruben Amorim to launch a fight back this season.<\/p>\n

Following a disastrous 15th place Premier League finish this season, missing out on European football for the first time in over ten years, something needs to shift.<\/p>\n

Amorim is at the helm for his first full season with full INEOS backing, and as such is trying to recruit to his preferred 3-4-3 system.<\/p>\n

The Portuguese manager uses a centralised attacking trio with dynamic wing-backs covering the full length of both flanks.<\/p>\n

However, this is a very different playstyle to the Erik ten Hag 4-2-3-1 set-up that the club was assembled for.<\/p>\n

As such, United have already signed Matheus Cunha<\/a> and are closing in on Brentford \u2018s Bryan Mbeumo as part of the rejuvenated attacking trio, however are still looking to sign a striker, midfielder, wing-back and goalkeeper.<\/a><\/p>\n

Now, The Guardian<\/a> has reported that as part of their bid to strengthen the squad, United are looking at West Ham United\u2019s Mohammed Kudus.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils\u2019 interest in Kudus has been long-standing, with him appearing on their short-list last summer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, it\u2019s understood that United are renewing their interest in Kudus, with Tottenham Hotspur leaving the door open for him as their initial offer for the Ghana international has been rejected.<\/p>\n

Spurs launched a \u00a355 million bid<\/a> made up of a \u00a350 million transfer fee and \u00a35 million in add-ons.<\/p>\n

However, this isn\u2019t enough for West Ham, with their star winger having a release clause of \u00a385 million.<\/p>\n

That said, it\u2019s been reported that The Hammers are happy to consider offers for less than the clause, however not for less than \u00a360 million.<\/p>\n

With United deal for Bryan Mbeumo now looking to be closer to \u00a370 million than \u00a360 million, it\u2019s unknown if Kudus is now being considered as a back up to Mbeumo, an alternative, or completely seperate.<\/p>\n

However, United do have competition with Chelsea and Newcastle United joining them and Spurs as interested parties.<\/p>\n
